procServ - Process Server with Telnet Console and Log Access

procServ has been moved to SourceForge

This page is referring to older versions before the move.

Module Owner:
Ralph Lange

This page is the current home of the procServ module, which provides an environment for running a process in the background in daemon style, while providing access to its console (stdin/stdout).

This page provides access to the software source code, and documentation on how to use it in your EPICS environment. Please email any comments and bug reports to the module owner who is responsible for coordinating development and releases.

  1. Uncompress and untar the distribution file into the new directory. Usual command:
      tar zxf <distfile>
  2. Run make and check for any compilation errors.
  3. Enjoy.
